Primary Cost Drivers
Material Composition&Grade:
Base Material:A hose made of standard 304 stainless steel is the most economical.Upgrading to 316/L stainless steel adds a premium for enhanced corrosion resistance.High-performance alloys like Inconel®,Monel®,or Titanium significantly increase cost.
Braiding:An unbraided hose is the least expensive.Adding a single braid increases cost for pressure capability and protection.A double braid commands a higher price for high-pressure/high-vibration service.
